My Introduction
My name is Sam and I am 19 years old
My favourite module last year was photography because I enjoyed the tasks and assignments given and had an interest in the module. My favourite TV show is Friends I always find myself watching it even if I saw the episode multiple time before. I don't really have a favourite type of music genre that I love, who I listen to/what I listen to is constantly changing but currently, I'm enjoying listening to Case Study 01 by Daniel Caesar.
With everything that's happening in the world right now, I didn't get to go anywhere nice over the summer spent most of my time in my house but it's crazy how much everything changes comparing it to last year when I was on holidays in Orlando and this year I spent it in my house
I also got a new dog a few days ago her name is Willow she is a rescue dog and is still getting used to us but we love her and can't wait to spend many more years with her.
Hey Sam, my favorite module from year 1 was also photography, from what i got to see your photos turned out quite well. I havn't heard of Daniel Caesar is it music or a podcast? and would you recommend him? What was Orlando like with the whole corona situation, of course they haven't shut things down but did you still have to wear a mask and such things?
ReplyDeleteHey Sam, I really enjoyed reading your blog, knowing a little bit more about yourself, I too also really enjoyed the photography form year 1 because of how fun it was to do all the assignments. I am the same with you I don't have a favorite type of music genre but love listening to it all, and have never heard of Daniel Caesar must have to listen to him. Great to hear you had a good summer and hope your trip to Orlando was unreal, must of been weird having to wear masks!
ReplyDeleteHey sam! your blog is so cute love the them! Photography was also my fav module in first year too! I remember us literally running around trying to take pictures of everything too haha.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of that podcast before either but might have a look at it since we have similar interests, glad to here you had a lovely summer hope rhona didnt catch yeeeee

Hey Sam, hope you're keeping well!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for liking friends it's also my favourite show, I always watch it when I'm at work and have nothing to do.
That's so heartwarming to see you to have gotten rescue dog, that's one thing I wanna do in the future when I have the time to care for a dog, that's so admirable.
Take care! -Lougein
Hi Same, Its Ellen ! I also love the show Friends iv seen watched it through multiple times and I still enjoy it. It's so easy just to throw on while you'r doing something else. I have always said if I get another dog it will be a rescue dog but my dog acts like an only child so I can't see it happening. Good luck with the semester ahead.
ReplyDeleteHi Sam! I hope summer wasn't too stressful or anything. Year 1 Photography was the chillest class we had and I miss group 5 :( I don't even know what my favourite module was, everything was extremely overwhelming but I loved the projects we had to do for photography. I know i'm probably gonna get slapped for this but I have never watched friends and I don't really want to start because there's so many episodes. - Anna
ReplyDeleteHey Sam, I liked reading this post! Yeah photography was one of my favourites as well but tbh I haven't done much photography since then. I like Daniel Ceasar as well as he puts out some amazing chill songs. You got me in the mood to listen to him now haha. It's kinda unfortunate not being able to go anywhere as well but I guess we just have the make the most of it!
ReplyDeleteSup Sam, Photography was on of my favourite modules last year too, it really did have some of the more enjoyable assignments compared to some of the other things we were doing in Year 1. Yeah, not being able to go anywhere or do anything over the summer kinda sucked and was pretty boring but I hope you were at least able to occupy yourself a bit. I wish you luck with Willow, new dogs are a lotta work but it's they're amazing nonetheless. Goodluck with the rest of this year too!
ReplyDeleteHey Sam I just read your introduction post! Photography was one of my favourite modules of last semester too and I just recently bought a Canon. One of my memories from last semester is rewatching Friends from start to finish while doing work for Visual Creativity, my favourite episode is "The One with The Embryos" when Monica and Rachel compete against Joey and Chandler in a quiz for their apartment. I also didn't go anywhere too exciting other than Cork and Clare but hopefully will be able to next Summer. Hope the rest of the semester and year goes well for you.
ReplyDeleteHey Sam just finished reading your intro blog post, like how succinct it is. Photography was definitely one of my favourite modules from last year too, thought it was really interesting and I also enjoyed the tasks and assignments. I get the whole 'music taste changing constantly' too, in the mood for something new so I might check out Case Study 01.
ReplyDeleteHi Sam, really good introduction post, photography was also one of my favorite modules last semester. Friends is one of my favorite shows too and sometimes I find myself coming back to re watch it. I also never did anything over the summer because of covid and everything. Goodluck with this module and also the rest of the semester in general. -Nathan
ReplyDeleteHey Sam, one of my favorite classes form last year was photography too, I really enjoyed it mainly because we didn't come in to class and sit down for two hours, I loved walking around outside and taking cool pictures. Yeah, being stuck at home is a lot different to be spending the end of summer in Orlando, hopefully you'll get back next year, best of luck this year!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sam just read your blog post there and we seem to have a lot in common. My favourite module last year was photography too, I found it so fun and interesting. Friends is also one of the best its one of my favourite shows too, Joey is my favourite character.
